Individual therapy is available for teens and adults (12+ years old). Sessions are conducted in-person or virtually.

  • Talk therapy is well-suited for individuals who are seeking personal growth, self-discovery, and a deeper understanding of their emotions and life experiences. It can be especially helpful for those struggling with low self-esteem, relationship concerns, or a desire to live a more meaningful life. Talk therapy is not recommended for individuals with certain anxiety disorders or OCD.

  • ACT helps you accept difficult thoughts and feelings without getting caught up in them. By doing so, you will be able to focus on what truly matters in life and take action towards your values. This approach is especially helpful for individuals with anxiety disorders.

  • ERP involves gradually exposing yourself to things that trigger your anxiety or obsessions, while choosing not to perform the compulsive behaviors that usually follow. Through this process, you learn that anxiety usually fades on its own, feared outcomes often do not happen, and, most importantly, you are able tolerate anxiety and distress. ERP is a highly effective treatment for anxiety disorders and OCD.

Rates

Bussey Counseling is currently in network with Aetna and BCBS.

For all other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. I provide a superbill (a coded receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. If you would like to learn more about what your insurance covers, please contact your insurance company directly.
